P0824 Gear Lever Y Position Circuit Intermittent High
The P0824 code means the signal from the gear lever position sensor on the Y axis cuts out or jumps at times. The main effect is that the transmission does not recognize where the lever is. Intermittent faults almost always come from a loose connection or a damaged wire, so look there first.
