U0429 Invalid Data Received From Steering Column Control Module Medium
The U0429 code means the steering column module is sending messages, but with data that does not make sense or is out of range. The steering wheel controls, turn signals or column lock may fail. The module is often just passing along a bad reading from one of its own sensors.
