Order of inspection
U0402 Invalid Data Received From Transmission Control Module Medium
The U0402 code means the transmission control module is sending messages, but with data that does not make sense or is out of range. The engine computer may limit torque as a result. The module is often just passing along a bad reading from one of its own sensors.
