P1614 Immobilizer Not Receiving the Key Identification Signal (Manufacturer Code) High
The P1614 code means the anti-theft system cannot read the key identification code, so it does not authorize starting. The engine cranks but does not fire. The most frequent cause is a key that is not programmed or has a damaged transponder, followed by the immobilizer antenna.
