P1564 Steering Wheel Cruise Control Switch Fault (Manufacturer Code) Low
The P1564 code means the module detected a bad signal from the cruise control switch on the steering wheel. It is a manufacturer code and its effect is limited: cruise control shuts off, but the vehicle keeps running normally. The cause is usually the switch itself or the clock spring in the steering wheel.
