P0986 Shift Solenoid E Control Circuit High High
The P0986 code means the transmission computer sees high voltage in the control circuit of shift solenoid E, which points to an open circuit or a short to voltage. Check the transmission connector and wiring before you replace the solenoid. Driving it is possible with caution, but the transmission can drop into limp mode.
