Order of inspection
P0898 Transmission Control System MIL Request Circuit Low Low
The P0898 code means there is a fault, a low voltage signal, in the circuit the transmission computer uses to request the check engine light. The transmission works, but the driver may not get a warning. Wiring and communication are the usual culprits.
