P0507 Idle Control System RPM Higher Than Expected Medium
The P0507 code means the engine is idling above the speed the computer is commanding. The cause is almost always extra air getting in somewhere the system does not control: a vacuum leak, a throttle plate that will not fully close because of carbon buildup, or a valve stuck open. It is a medium severity code, so you can drive with caution while you track it down.
