P0403 Exhaust Gas Recirculation Control Circuit Medium
The P0403 code points to the electrical circuit of the EGR actuator, not to the amount of gas flowing. The current the computer measures does not match what it expects. It usually comes down to the actuator coil, the connector or the wiring, and often a valve gummed up with carbon.
