P0342 Camshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low (Bank 1) High
The P0342 code means the camshaft position sensor signal is lower than any real operating condition allows. It points to an electrical fault such as an open circuit, a short to ground or a sensor that stopped producing a signal. The typical symptom is a longer than normal start.
