Order of inspection
P0340 Camshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1 or Single Sensor) High
The P0340 code means the computer is not receiving the camshaft position sensor signal, or is receiving it erratically. Without that data it cannot determine engine phase, which causes long cranking, sudden stalls and, on some vehicles, an engine that will not start.
