Order of inspection
P0304 Cylinder 4 Misfire Detected High
The P0304 code means failed combustion events are concentrated in cylinder number four. On transverse four-cylinder engines that is often the cylinder farthest from the belt and sometimes the most exposed to heat, which wears out its ignition coil sooner. The diagnostic method is the same as for any cylinder: swap parts and see whether the misfire follows.
